Application in the First Domestic Bio-safety 7-axis Cobot
At analytica China 2020, MegaRobo released the first bio-safety 7-axis collaborative robot MRS-03 in China. This robot is based on MegaRobo motion control and ZeroErr robot actuators. It is specially designed for sensitive environments such as sterile room and clean room. It is suitable for scenes with strict environmental requirements such as hospitals, medical laboratories, and clean workshops.
Thanks to the compact size of ZeroErr eRob series, and with 18mm inner diameter, the MRS-03 adopts a compact and lightweight design. All terminal electrical cables are wiring through the hollow ring to avoid hygiene and safety problems caused by external wiring. It is suitable for working in scenes such as isolators and bio-safety cabinets. Encoder, the core component of the robot, has a special external battery bin for the convenience of maintenance and meanwhile reducing the hygiene problems caused by daily operation.
MRS-03 is resistant to VHP sterilization and the actuators adopt food grade lubricating oil. The surface is smooth and clean and without dead angle, which can effectively reduce the attachment of residues. The screw free design on the robot surface is convenient for clean and avoids the hygiene dead angle. With 1000mm reach, 3kg payload, and accuracy ±0.05mm, it can meet the application requirements of most life science industry.
The MRS-03 fills the gap in the domestic bio-safety robot market, and lays a solid foundation for MegaRobo to better serve customers and promote the process of automation and intelligence in the life science industry.
