Harbin Sagebot Intelligent Medical Equipment Co., Ltd. is a high-tech enterprise focusing on the R&D, production and sales of surgical robots. The company's laparoscopic surgical robot is the first domestic laparoscopic surgical robot of the TCM system settled in the First Affiliated Hospital, HEILONGJIANG University of Chinese Medicine. This article will introduce the solutions provided by ZeroErr in the company's laparoscopic surgical robot project.

Application Challenge

Safety, precision and stability are indispensable. Laparoscopic surgical robots are highly advanced medical robots that are widely used to perform minimally invasive and telesurgery. It is able to gain access to the inside of the body through tiny incisions, thereby reducing intraoperative bleeding, postoperative pain and the risk of complications, shortening hospital stays and faster recovery times. Through the console, surgeons can easily manipulate the robot arm to perform delicate surgical operations, while obtaining clearer 3D images and zooming in on the field of view, improving surgical accuracy and safety.

Small

means that the eRob rotary actuator has a smaller volume and lighter overall weight under the same torque output, and can be easily integrated into the narrow body of the robot arm. In addition, it adopts a hollow structure to allow the cables of actuator motor and end manipulator pass through the inside of the actuator, all of which make the robot more compact, light and simple.

Powerful

mainly includes three aspects:

1. Highest precision - repeatability/accuracy: ±7/±15 arc seconds

2. Environmental tolerance: temperature -40~70℃, humidity 95%

The main eRob rotary actuators used in the laparoscopic surgical robots are eRob70I and eRob80I. And the shipment of the eRob models used is around 200 units until now.
