Comparison of Switching Power Supply and ePower.
1. Ordinary switching power supply will cause over-voltage due to kinetic energy recovery, triggering protection shutdown.
2. Ordinary switching power supply will cause over-current due to momentary large load, triggering protection shutdown.
3. ePower power supply has a dedicated circuit inside, which will not trigger over-voltage protection due to regenerative braking, and will not trigger over-current shutdown due to momentary excessive load.
About ePower
ePower is a dedicated power supply unit specifically designed to support the use of eRob Rotary Actuators. It converts standard AC input into the appropriate DC voltage required by eRob actuators.
Available in 400W, 800W, and 1500W models, ePower is well-suited for dynamic applications where the actuators or robotic systems may generate regenerative energy and experience frequent current fluctuations.
